Time: 11AM/2PM ET

We invite you to attend a complimentary webinar on May 15, 2014 to learn how White Plains Hospital (WPH) successfully improved care plan compliance as a part of their overall evidence-based practice initiatives, leveraging the role of nursing informaticists.

WPH will demonstrate how they leveraged a rapid implementation process to efficiently deploy patient-centered care plans within their EHR.  This process included forming an interdisciplinary care planning council consisting of respiratory, nursing, informatics, nutrition, physical therapy, care management, and others to customize an astounding 55 care plans in just 3 days based on the current and most relevant evidence.

As a result of their efforts, care plan utilization increased from just 58% to 95%.  User satisfaction increased as well from both novice and veteran clinicians.

Join your peers to learn how your organization can use nurse informaticists to implement evidence-based, interdisciplinary, care guidance.

During this Webinar, you’ll learn:
The value of nurse informaticists in driving compliance of care plans
Strategies to gain consensus on care plans and evidence-based CDS
The best ways to influence strategic initiatives like Meaningful Use Stage 2

Scheduled to participate are:

  • Romina Hipolito Elias, assistant nurse manager of the mother-baby unit, White Plains Hospital
  • Clarissa Tojos, clinical nurse informaticist, White Plains Hospital
  • Grant G. Campbell, senior director of nursing strategy and informatics, Zynx Health
